How can the careers team help me?

I am a graduate of the University of Leicester; can I access careers services?

Yes, we welcome University of Leicester graduates and are happy for you to visit the Student Development Zone and make use of the many resources that it contains. You can also book careers appointments and attend careers events.

I am a graduate from another university; can I access the University of Leicester career services?

Graduates from other universities are welcome to visit the Student Development Zone and make use of the many resources that it contains. However, careers appointments are reserved for our own graduates.

Your own University's Careers Service may offer guidance by e-mail or telephone. Or you may be able to visit a Careers Service in your home area. Contact them to ask what facilities they can offer and whether charges are made. Remember to say where you graduated and how long ago. Be aware that some Careers Services give priority to their own graduates and students.

I am a distance learning student at the University of Leicester; how do I get careers advice?

If you are unable to come into the Student Development Zone for help and advice we can support you using telephone or email guidance.
