Do your Research

Investigate which organisations particularly interest you. Find out more about them by looking at their website to help you to be focussed and prepare impressive questions. Decide what you want - think about what it is that you actually want from the employers. For example, it may be inside knowledge about the profession that you cannot find on the organisation’s website.

Plan key questions to ask

For example, particular skills the organisation requires, entry requirements, training and progression, or recent news relevant to the sector. You could also ask the recruiter what he or she likes best about the workplace culture and values to assess if that organisation would be right for you. Don’t waste time asking for information that is readily available online.
