Ask4 provides the following in our sites.

• A minimum internet speed of 10mb to each room
• High speed internet of up to 100mb available to purchase
• Free access to Freeview, International and HDTV
• Sky Sports and other premium channels, and Digital Video Recording (DVR) services available for an extra fee
• WiFi in all rooms and common areas with seamless transfer between them
• Eduroam available across the site
• Remote back up with unlimited storage
• Gaming support for simultaneous console connections with access to 100 gaming servers and the ability to host tournaments

Once you arrive in our accommodation you can access service updates, news and information on gaming events from the ask4 portal.

Other Sites

Opal Court provide a broadband style internet service that residents are required to subscribe to in order to have internet access in their room. The subscription allows unlimited internet access for the whole residency period. There are three packages available for students to choose from. For the 2012/2013 session the subscription charges for the residency period were Included in rent (10Mb), you then have the option to upgrade £80(30Mb), £150(70Mb), and £430(100Mb).
