What is Arts in the Village?
University is the ideal time to experience new things and meet new people, but with so many options available to you, how do you know what to try next? The Arts in the Village programme contains a variety of taster sessions, lessons and events for you to attend. They’re generally either free or heavily subsidised, so you don’t need to worry too much about your budget. We hope that you’ll have a great time, discover a lifelong passion for something you haven’t done before, and just as importantly, that you meet like-minded friends with whom you can enjoy your new hobby.
If you have any ideas for activities that aren’t currently on the programme, we’d be keen to hear from you. Email email@example.com with your thoughts or questions about our services. We’d also love to see some of your images from the events you do attend. You can email them to us or send them via Instagram.
Arts at City Living is also open to all Oadby students so if you see anything on offer at our city sites that you would like to take part in then book on and pop down. Look out for our monthly event calendars and join our ‘Oadby bars and events’ Facebook page for ongoing information.
