Dr Eran Tauber
Dr Eran Tauber is a lecturer in molecular evolution at the University of Leicester. His scientific career has focused on the study of neural and molecular mechanisms of behaviour. He joined the Department of Genetics in 2000 as a Marie-Curie fellow where he engaged in studying the circadian-clock system in Drosophila, and in 2005 he was appointed a lecturer at the same Department. His work has been funded by NERC, BBSRC and the Royal Society and was published in international journals such as Science. He serves as an ad-hoc referee for numerous journals and several funding bodies. He is using R extensively in his research, and teaches it at the MSc Bioinformatics course.
