Student Lifecycle Systems Overview

This short session will give you a brief introduction to the different Student Lifecycle Systems and how they are used to store, administer and manage aspects of the student lifecycle from admission to graduation. SITS is the main database at the centre of all the systems and has a web interface known as MyStudentRecord. SITS also links to other systems such as CMIS (Timetabling), Blackboard VLE and Business Objects. As well as familiarising you with these systems and the terminology used you will also learn about new systems that have been recently implemented into the student lifecycle. This is a high level overview of the Student Lifecycle Systems, it is not a hands-on PC session.
