Dr Andrew Futter discusses research in new video

Dr Andrew Futter (pictured) from the School of History, Politics and International Relations recently gave a talk at the Nobel Peace Institute, discussing issues surrounding how new technologies are changing how we view nuclear weapons and what the future may have in store.

In the video he discusses nuclear orthodoxy and how we should reassess our views towards nuclear weaponry in the modern day, suggesting that we may be entering a ‘third nuclear age’ which could be dominated by predominantly non-nuclear technologies.
