League table cites Leicester in top ten for research citations
New world ranking places University of Leicester in top ten in UK and top 100 in the world for research citations.
The QS World University Rankings, published last month, have again placed Leicester amongst Britain’s leading universities for research. The rankings measure the level of research citation at different universities - that is, the number of times a university’s research is cited by academics across the globe.
Leicester is a regular fixture in the QS Rankings’ top ten and also ranks in the top 100 (top 1%) of universities in the world.
