Students blitz litter for Big Spring Clean
Park and campus tidied up by hardworking volunteers.
Well done to our students who spent two hours on Wednesday picking up litter from the campus and the adjacent Victoria Park.
The Environment Team and our Contact student volunteers joined forces as part of the Keep Britain Tidy campaign’s Big Tidy Up and Leicester City Council’s Big Spring Clean.
Vicky Park didn’t prove as litter-clogged as in previous years, probably because of recent weather, but ten full sacks of rubbish were collected including a lot of non-biodegradable material.
