Presentation of awards to Maltese distance learning graduates
Undergraduate and postgraduate students in Malta who studied on our Human Resources courses by distance learning have received their qualifications at a ceremony on the island.
Our Centre for Labour Market Studies has a long-standing relationship with the Foundation for Human Resources Development and Dr Nalita James from the CLMS flew out to the Mediterranean to attend the presentations. Nalita and Ms Annika Galea President of the FHRD, presented the students with their certificates.
Eleven students received a Masters Degree in Human Resources, eight graduated from the BSc course and a further eleven received Diplomas or Certificates.
MSc graduate Veronica Farrugia, who obtained a distinction in her dissertation and had the highest overall assignment average amongst the Masters graduates, was presented with the Louis Naudi Award. Louis Naudi was HR director of the Island Hotels Group and a founder member of the FHRD.
The presentation was reported by local media including the Malta Star.
