History student’s first volume of verse expands his writing credentials.

Nick Palmer, a postgraduate in our School of Historical Studies, is celebrating the publication of his first volume of poetry. Three Worlds has been published by Derbyshire-based small press Inspired Quill and is available from Amazon as an e-book (price 98p) or a proper paperback made of real paper (price £4.99).

Nick, who cites Robert Frost, Max Ehrmann, and Roger McGough among his poetry influences, is also a playwright and was responsible for Lost and Found, the modern take on Love’s Labours Lost which LUTheatre performed last November. And when he’s not writing, he’s surrounded by literature anyway because he also has a job in the University Library.

You can find out more about Nick, and read a few of his poems, on his blog.
