Public lecture tonight by expert on US elections

The race for the United States presidency is hotting up already but with the presidential elections still eight months away, in November, you may want to take the time to catch up on the political landscape of the USA.

On 12 March, our Centre for American Studies will be hosting Professor Andrew Rudalevige, who will be providing an intriguing insight into what could be a monumental election.

Professor Rudalevige is Professor of Political Science at Dickinson College, Pennsylvania, and his work is focused on presidential power and the relations between the President and Congress. He is also interested in the administrative aspects of the White House and bureaucratic control within the US Government.

His lecture ‘A Snarly Sort of Politics: The Obama Presidency and the Elections of 2012’ takes place at 5.30pm in Ken Edwards LT3. For further details contact Dr James Campbell on jmc62@le.ac.uk.
