Post-exams mini-tournament.

Well done to Harry Dance, a student in our School of Psychology, who organised a men’s rugby sevens tournament yesterday that not only helped our students wind down after exams, it has also raised more than £300 for charity.

Six teams entered and, in the true spirit of rugby, didn’t mind the rain and the mud. Leicester Medics were unbeaten and emerged the day’s champions while the Front Row Union Boys raised the most money, a solid 50 quid.

All told £101 was raised on the day for Cancer Research UK with a further £220 donated through the JustGiving page.

Harry would like to thank all those who took part and Emma Dawson for helping so much in organising the event.
