Public lecture by Alastair Campbell, 16 January 2013 (sold out)
Alastair Campbell, former Director of Communications and Strategy for the Labour Government from 1997 to 2003, visits the University next month for a public lecture.
Campbell, who went to City of Leicester Boys’ Grammar School (now City of Leicester College) from 1968 until going up to Cambridge, will speak on ‘The Burden of Power’ - the title of the second volume of his diaries which was published in June.
The lecture will take place in the Peter Williams Lecture on 16 January 2013, starting at 5.30pm. Tickets are now sold out.
NB. This lecture was originally scheduled for September but postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. Everyone who had tickets for the original lecture has already been offered tickets for the new date. Consequently there is only a very limited number of tickets available.
