Leicester academic presents at Maltese HR event
The Foundation for Human Resources Development (FHRD) is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation dedicated to supporting and promoting the HR profession across the Maltese islands. An agreement between the FHRD and our Centre for Labour Market Studies (CLMS) enables the former to act as a representative of the latter in Malta.
A couple of weeks ago the FHRD held its annual seminar under the banner Creating People Advantage. Dr Crow, a Lecturer in HR Practices and Employer Engagement, spoke on ‘Leading a Learning Organisation’ during which she compared the process of effective leadership in the 21st century to leading a jazz band.
The Malta Independent has a full report on the conference.
