Valid Proof of ID

We ask everyone who wishes to join the Library and who is not a member of the University to supply one document showing your name and current address plus 2 passport photographs. Photographs should be in colour and sized 4.5cm by 3.5cm without distortion.

The following documents are accepted as proof of identification:

• Driver's Licence
• Utility bill e.g. gas, electricity, telephone bill
• Rentbook or Council Tax Statement
• Bank or Building Society statement

Plus if you are applying for membership by way of one of the reciprocal access schemes you also need:

• Your completed and validated application form/card from your home library

And

• Your current Library/University/College card from your home institution

If you are applying for membership via the NHS you also need your valid NHS ID
