IT facilities

There are 350 PCs within the David Wilson Library for use by students and staff. You will require a University IT account to login to these machines.

Netbooks

There are 40 netbooks available for loan from the lockers in the Help Zone, ground floor David Wilson Library.

Connecting your laptop

All study desks in the David Wilson Library have a power socket for plugging in your laptop. Wireless internet access is provided throughout the building. Connect to the wi-fi network using these instructions.

Group study rooms

Group study rooms include a networked PC and audio visual facilities.  Please visit the Group study rooms page for further information.

Multimedia viewing room

A Multimedia viewing room is available in the basement of the David Wilson Library.

IT training rooms

There are two IT training rooms on the Ground Floor of the David Wilson Library.  IT Room 1 has 47 PCs and IT Room 2 has 24 PCs.  These rooms can be booked for teaching by University staff using central room bookings.
