Using the Group Study Room Booking System
Logging in
You can log in to the Group Study Room Booking Service with your Library Number and PIN.
If you are have trouble logging in please call 0116 252 2043 or email library@le.ac.uk.
On the home page you will see your name as well as any messages you have received, and bookings you have made.
How to create a booking
Click on “Create Booking”
The create booking page can be used in two ways:
1. To directly access one of the booking option; book a group study room, book a Datastream terminal
2. To search for availability (using the form in the right hand pane)
The difference between the options is that the first allows you to pick a particular room (without knowing if it is available), whilst the second allows you to pick a time (without specifying which room you want).
Select time
Once a room/time has been selected you will be presented with the calendar view for a particular room:
You can select a time either by clicking in the calendar or entering the details on the right. Once the details have been entered click next.
Terms & Conditions
Once you have read the terms and conditions tick the box and click next.
Verify booking
Check the booking details sre correct and click submit to place the booking.
Booking confirmation
The booking is placed. The confirmation screen can be printed or downloaded to a calendar application using the links on the right.
You will also receive an e-mail confirmation.
Editing & deleting bookings
You can manage your bookings using the “My bookings” page
This page displays all of your current bookings. By clicking on the booking reference (e.g. DWL000041) you can see the details of the booking and edit or delete the booking, if you edit or delete a booking you will receive an email confirming the changes.
Bookings that have started or past cannot be edited or deleted.
