Nicholas Corah Graduate School Reading Room

Graduate School Reading RoomThe Nicholas Corah Graduate School Reading Room is on Floor 1 of the David Wilson Library and is available for use by all University of Leicester postgraduate students and staff.  It is named after Sir Nicholas Corah, a former Pro-Chancellor who led the fundraising effort for the new library building.

 

You need your University student card to gain access to the room (University staff: please use your Library card).

Facilities

The Graduate School Reading Room offers both formal and informal spaces for quiet and silent study together with group study rooms that can be booked only by postgraduate students and which are equipped with a PC, DVD player, LCD screen, and whiteboard.

Visit the Graduate School Reading Room on weekday afternoons to discover new technologies for every stage of the research process.

  • Get advice on how to keep up-to-date and publicize your research in the Web environment
  • Try out the iPad and eBook readers available
  • Come along to one of the workshops on how to use technology in your research
  • Build your personal network at Leicester by joining the thesis forum
