Items may be returned using the self-service book return on the Ground Floor of the David Wilson Library. You will receive a receipt listing what has been returned. There is also a book drop facility at the entrance to the Library. Note: returning items from document supply is handled differently.

How do I renew my items?
Items can be renewed by:

- In person. Take the items to the Service Desk and ask staff to renew them.
- By telephoning the renewals number: (0116) 252 2043
Please have your library card number available. If we are able to renew your loans, please make a note of the new due date, a receipt with the new return date will be issued in the self-service issue machines.
Items cannot be renewed if they have a hold for another reader. You need to ensure you have allowed sufficient time to return held items, or you may incur a fine.
