British Library

  • British Library Newsroom
    The Newsroom at the British Library in St Pancras, London opened in April 2014. Users can access print, microfilm and digital and newspaper collections, including free on-site access to the British Library's digital newspaper archives.
  • British Newspaper Archive
    Digital collection of local and regional newspapers. The website is free to search, and free to download at the British Library. Alternatively, users can purchase a package of user credits (at your own expense).
  • Colindale Newspaper Library
    The British Library's Newspaper Library at Colindale was closed in November 2013, and the collection is being moved to the new Newspaper Storage Building in Boston Spa. Users should now use the British Library Newsroom at St Pancras.
