Searching for Open Access research
There is a world of published research available in open access repositories and journals. While the contents of sites like the LRA appear in Google, there are also specialist search tools that specifically index publications available as open access documents.

Leicester research publications
Some of the research published at the University of Leicester in recent years can be found by searching the LRA. If your research publications are not yet available on the LRA you can deposit them easily.

There are a number of different ways to locate full-text eTheses at other institutions around the world.

- Search the Library Catalogue and look for theses with a URL link
UK and international theses
- Index to Theses (UK)
- British Library EThOS service (UK)
- Networked Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (NDLTD) (Global)
- Trove (Australia)
Alternatively use general search engines like Google and Google Scholar or use the search services listed above. More advice on finding online and print theses is available. For help in searching for etheses then contact your information librarian.

Keeping up to date with the LRA
RSS feeds are available (RSS 2.0 and 1.0) for all materials or just those added to individual Communities and Collections . There is a twitter feed
(UoLLRA) that highlights key items added and you can also subscribe to email alerts from each Community or Collection's page.
