OAIG launches reports and resource pack
To coincide with Open Access Week 2011 the UK Open Access Implementation Group (OAIG) has launched a raft of information and reports aimed at a variety of open access stakeholders.
It draws together guidance on paying for open access publication charges, the JISC OA Week resources, and the RCUK OA pages as well as the Universities UK (UUK) policy position along with other resources.
Part of the pack is The Benefits to the Private Sector of Open Access to Higher Education and Scholarly Research report and the Open Access Fees Report , showing the outcomes of research into the benefits of open access to commercial companies and findings from a consultation on the practicalities of paying for open access publication.
Membership of OAIG comprises senior representatives from major stakeholders in open access including Universities UK, RLUK, JISC, RCUK and ARMA.
