He can advise you on impact factors, open access publishing, depositing items in the Leicester Research Archive (LRA) and on where to find information on the best places to publish your research. He can provide training sessions on any of the above to you, or your students. He liaises with, and purchases library resources for the departments and courses listed under "Departments/Schools" above.

Professional Interests

Keith is particularly interested in teaching critical appraisal of the literature.   He blogs occasionally on the Library's blog.   He firmly believes in the mutual benefit of links with other parts of the world, and has been able to visit Gondar, Ethiopia, twice as part of the University's link with the University there.  The first of these visits was specifically to the Library, and the second was to teach, with colleagues from Ethiopia and the UK, a module on evidence based practice, as part of the University of Gondar's MSc programme.  Keith edits the Health Libraries Group Newsletter's "Internet Sites of Interest" column, and is a reviewer for the BMA's annual Patient Information Award.
