Improvements to Library homepage
We have made some improvements to the Library homepage to take account of your feedback since this Website was launched last summer.
We are also working on some changes to the Books (Catalogue) display which will be available in the next few weeks.
This will include being able to get the PIN for your Library account emailed to you.
Your continued feedback is very welcome to library@le.ac.uk
Clearer search options for Leicester Digital Library
The active search 'tab' is now red - the same colour as the search form below it. So, if you click on Articles, the background colour changes from black to red. This makes it easier to see what type of search you are doing.
More options in Books (Catalogue) Search
You can now choose to limit your search to the author, title or subject of a book. You can also limit your search to print or eBooks.
Finding print journals
We have made it clearer how you can search for print journals from the Journals option. You can follow a link called 'Find a print journal' under Journals search. Within the Journals search there is an option to search for a print journal if you find that the journal, or part of a journal, that you need is not available electronically.
Information about Using the Library
All the Using the Library links are now clickable images and they have moved up the page. We hope that this will make them more obvious and easier to access.
We still have links to information for Distance Learners, Undergraduates etc. These are now further down the page and use text links rather than images.
