Piecing Together Your Dissertation includes, among other things: short videos; interactive tutorials; study guides; and downloadable materials for you to take away and use in your own research and writing.

Theses are some of the most heavily used items in the Archive – making the work of Leicester PhD students visible to a large audience.

In common with a number of other leading research universities, the Library is embarking on a major project over the summer to digitise 2,000 hard copy theses awarded between 1997 and 2007. Leicester will then have one of the most extensive digital thesis collections in the country.

We have contacted as many former students as possible about this but do not have contact details for everyone.

If you are a Leicester PhD graduate, were awarded your degree between 1997 and 2007 and do NOT wish your thesis to be digitised, please email ethesis@le.ac.uk or write to Rob Melocha, Open Thesis Digitisation Project, University of Leicester Library, University Road, Leicester LE1 7RH.
