New journals for heritage and tourism

Two new journals are now available from the Library

Both journals are available via the Library homepage or by following the links below.

The Journal of Heritage Tourism
JHT seeks to critically examine all aspects of heritage tourism. Some of the topics to be explored within the context of heritage tourism will include colonial heritage, commodification, interpretation, urban renewal, religious tourism, genealogy, patriotism, nostalgia, folklore, power, funding, contested heritage, historic sites, identity, industrial heritage, marketing, conservation, ethnicity, education and indigenous heritage.

Heritage and Society
Previously called Heritage Management, this journal will explore a holistic approach to the planning and administration of heritage resources and bring together the sometimes divergent approaches of archaeologists, public historians, CRM professionals, heritage administrators, and community leaders.
