Get Involved
Run by the Members
At local level the UCU depends on the work of lay members. All members have a role to play in making policies, improving conditions of service and defending them when necessary. This involvement strengthens the democracy and effectiveness of the UCU.
Can I help?
Yes! No matter how much time you have to spare the UCU always needs more input from its members. From campaigning, to being a departmental representative, to being on the committee, there are lots of ways in which you can help the union. Why not contact your departmental contacts or a member of the committee to discuss ways in which you could help.
