Student Accommodation Online Project
What is it?
The expectations of students are increasing and the ‘student experience ‘is rapidly becoming a key ‘market’ differentiator as evidenced by the annual survey of students. Although the University is already providing some services to students online there is a need to deliver a more comprehensive and integrated service. The Student Accommodation project will develop and implement two new accommodation services, e-Applications and e-Contracts. This project will address the requirement for students to manage their accommodation online.
What will it deliver?
Once the project has been delivered sStudents will be able to:
-
Apply for accommodation online.
-
Accept or reject offers of accommodation online.
-
Monitor the progress of their application online.
-
Receive online notification of the allocation of accommodation.
-
Receive and enter into contracts online.
University staff will be able to:
-
Process applications for accommodation online.
-
Issue and receive ‘signed’ contracts online.
-
Have access to more timely management information for the control allocation and marketing of accommodation.
When will it be delivered?
