Call for new Research Professors

You will be an outstanding research leader, able to attract high level funding and colleagues who are leaders in your field and share your talent and vision. Together you will build a successful research centre, harnessing the power and commitment of your team at one of the UK’s leading universities.

That is why we recently appointed a range of new Research Professors and continue to seek up to six further Research Professors who share our ambition and passion for discovery.

Building on the success of the previous rounds of research professorships, in this round we are interested in hearing from leaders in their field who enhance and develop our existing research strengths.

In return you will be able to spend all your time on research and be supported in the initial development of your chosen field by University funds for three years.

NB. This is the third round of the competition. Candidates who applied for the previous rounds of the Research Professorships Competition should not reapply unless their proposal has changed substantially.
