Set entry point of your course to be a wiki or blog

How to use the Learning Objects Campus LX wiki or blog as the first page that your students see when they enter a Blackboard site

Go to CONTROL PANEL>MANAGE COURSE MENU (course options bottom left hand side of your screen), then choose ADD TOOL LINK instead of a regular content item. Select from the drop down box 'LEARNING OBJECTS TEAM LX' (for a wiki, 'Learning objects Journal' for a blog) and type a new name under neath 'wiki' or 'your menu name here'. Click OK. You will see the wiki has been added to to the bottom of the list of menu items. Move it up to the top of the list by using the drop down list next to the item and making it '1'.

To set this as the new entry point to the course, go to CONTROL PANEL>SETTINGS> SET COURSE ENTRY POINT and choose whatever you called your wiki menu item from the list. This takes a while to refresh, but the next time you log into the course it will be the first thing you see before announcements or anything else on your list of menu items.
