An hour of fun with award-winning author Julia Donaldson and her husband
Malcolm, who will be acting out Julia’s stories and singing her songs, with lots of
help from the audience.

Come and meet the Freddie, the deaf fairy, and many other characters from Julia’s books, and be prepared for a guest appearance by the Gruffalo himself. After the event, Julia will be signing copies of her books.

Julia Donaldson is the Children’s Laureate. Her rhyming stories regularly top the children’s bestselling charts, and the animation of The Gruffalo has been a big hit on BBC television. Julia has also written many songs, plays and novels, and is the author of the popular Songbirds series of phonic reading books for schools. Her husband Malcolm enjoys taking time off from his job as a doctor to play the guitar and act in her shows.
