Lecture Summary

The lecture will take you on a journey into the field of Structural Biology with an eye for the historical perspective. Starting from basic concepts, I will explore the consequences for the functioning of biomolecules in the biological processes. This journey will raise fundamental questions as to what constitutes knowledge and how we can assess the correctness of our experimental results. Finally, I will try to assess the challenges for the future of Structural Biology, as field of science.
