Ethiopia joins the rest of the world in the global celebration day - "Save Lives: Clean Your Hands"

May 7th 2012 saw the Global celebration of the World Health Organisation (WHO) Save Lives: Clean Your Hands day celebrated for the first time in Gondar. This was also the first celebration to be held in Ethiopia.
A poster competition was also held in two local schools for children to develop some new posters to be put around the hospital and their schools to highlight the imporance of Hand Hygiene. All of the entries have been brought back to the UK to be enlarged to A4 size and laminated with the two winning posters being enlarged to A3. These will be taken back to Gondar to be put up in the schools and hospital later this year.
