Introduction

Are you thinking of making a gift to charity in your will?

If so please remember the University.

More and more people are now including gifts to charity in their wills. For the givers, it is a way of helping to ensure that vital work or causes can continue for generations to come. For the recipients, legacies are an increasingly important source of income. The University has established a legacy programme in order to ensure that whatever the future brings, it can go on providing vital new facilities, support pioneering research and assist with student welfare. As a charity, all legacies to the University are not subject to tax. Your gift could be for a specific purpose or to the Council of the University for it to decide what is the priority at the time. The University is constantly undertaking research in important areas: cancer and medical research, child welfare, and many others, all of which will aid future generations.
