  • A glamorous night of burlesque with Doe Demure's group, the Chicas Locas from Skytribe Dance Studio. Expect stockings, comedy and tease, plus performances from Skytribe Tribal fusion belly dance.

  • Sunday 11 June, 1pm - 4pm, Pay What You Think
  • Whether you’re a seasoned contact dancer or someone who’s interested in what that might mean and wants to give it go, everyone is welcome to us join us in the space.
  • The first half of the session will be a workshop led by a guest dancer, leading the group through sensory warm up exercises and will look at some basic contact improvisational skill development. The workshop will then lead to an open jam for the remainder of the session.

  • Scarlett Elizabeth Turner, artistic director of Fuelled Dance Theatre will be performing a physical theatre solo just this once. Exploring self struggles of gender stereotypes and sexuality in the form of a life journey from her childhood all the way through till her life now. Asking questions of our right to be accepted for who we are and not what society expects us to be.

  • Choreographed and performed by Katherine Hall
  • This is speaking dance; a taking of action, a protest that voices the responsibilities giving and receiving care. 'You sit there' explores how power can shift within caring relationships through a weaving of text and movement. Where are you giving and receiving and who is in control of this?

  • In this fun, relatable, and heart-warming piece, Nadine Knew explores what it is like to be a 12 year old female in today’s society; through a series of autobiographical improvised sections, she addresses the sexualisation of young women and girls, the pressure society puts on females to wear makeup, and the special bond between sisters.
