Learning and Outreach

Explore the arts with us in our creative studios and new galleries, supported by artists and staff, tailoring access to your requirements.

Sessions and workshops are available for schools, groups, families and individuals – all are welcome to take part and learn.
Complete an Arts award with us, achieve your schools Artsmark, and join our young ambassadors programme – there are lots of ways for you to get involved and keep in touch.

We are also working on Unlocking the World through Arts, a project funded by Paul Hamlyn Foundation, which explores new ways to learn, discover and develop together. The seed of the idea first sprouted a teacher who remarked on the potential for the Arts to unlock the world for children with special educational needs. The idea for a sensory atelier was born, creating a new ways of working for the schools and Attenborough Arts Centre. To find out more click here
