University Women's Football March On
University of Leicester Women's Football Club continue unbeaten run
The University of Leicester women’s football team maintained their 100% start to the season with a 6-1 win over Oxford University Women’s 2nd team to get through to the next round of the BUCS Cup where they will face University of East Anglia at home on the 27/01/10. This success along with an incredible start to the league the season which has seen the team score over 30 goals and top the league with a game in hand shows the hard work current members of the squad are doing.
All new members are welcome to come join the squad. Pop along to training which takes place at Manor Road on Mondays and Tuesdays 7.15-8.30pm with games on Wednesday at 1.30pm. Alternatively please free to contact Ruth Kelliher or Emily Lewin on su-womensfootball@le.ac.uk.
