Retirement of Stan Lawrence

Stan Lawrence will be retiring from the University after 24 years as a Clerk of Works.

Stan Lawrence is retiring from the University on 29th August 2008 after 24 years service at the University together with his wife Pauline who works in Research and Business Development.

Stan joined the University on 1st September 1984, employed as a Clerk of Works. Over the years he has been the Clerk of Works on the building of the Mathematics and Computer Sciences Building, Rear Annex of 104 Regent Road, Sports Halls at Manor Road and Stoughton Road, Bower Court at Gilbert Murray/Stamford Hall and Phases I and II of Nixon Court. Since 1996 Stan has also been responsible for overseeing the refurbishment of numerous Halls of Residences.
