Professor Stephen Hall to be awarded honorary doctorate by Pretoria University
In April this year, Professor Stephen Hall will receive an honorary doctorate from Pretoria University. The honorary doctorate is in recognition of his contributions to the development of macroeconomics and econometrics, with a special emphasis on empirical macroeconomic models.
Professor Stephen Hall is one of the founding members of the African Econometric Society, which has managed to successfully advance economic theory and econometric research, especially with African themes.
The degree ceremony is due to take place on 13 April 2010 at the University of Pretoria.
