Dr Hong Dong
Dr. Hong Dong awarded Royal Society Industry Fellowship
Dr. Hong Dong, a lecturer in the Mechanics of Materials Group in Engineering Department, has been awarded a prestigious Royal Society Industry Fellowship for 2 years, which will enable him to work with Rolls-Royce on a collaborative project on multi-scale modelling of casting. It is hoped the fellowship will provide Hong with a chance to establish and strengthen links between the MOM group and the casting and process modelling groups in Rolls-Royce as a foundation for long-term future development.
