We have learnt, with great regret, of the death on Thursday, 22nd October 2009, of Mr John Hewitt. Mr Hewitt joined the University in 1984, initially as a Chauffeur and then during the latter years of his career he worked as a Porter in the Chemistry and Attenborough Buildings until his retirement in 2005.
Funeral to be held at Gilroes Cemetery on Friday 6th November at 9.45am
