It's Quiz Time! - 25/11/2009 17:30

Time to get your teams together and your thinking caps on for the annual Senior Common Room Quiz on Wednesday 25th November

Teams of up to six are invited to join in with the quizzing fun in the Senior Common Room on the 5th floor of the Charles Wilson Building.

Don't forget that you can bring along family and friends as well as departmental colleagues. Entrance fee is £2 per contestant, £12 per team of six.

The SCR bar will open at 5.30pm for hot and cold drinks and the usual delicious 'pile it high' hot supper (with a vegetarian option). Your quizmaster (or mistress in this case) will open the quiz at 6.30pm and prize-giving will take place at about 9.30pm.

This year, all of the proceeds from entrance fees will go to Children in Need and we are hoping for a record donation, so please bring along your loose change, copper coin hoards and any spare ten or twenty quid notes you may have lying around to give to the collection which will pass among you at half time.

The SCR Committee have very generously offered a first prize of 6 £20 book or music tokens and there will be other great prizes for 2nd and 3rd place teams.
