Commemorating the 200th anniversary of the passing of one of the classic era's greatest composers the University Choral Society in association with the Sinfonia will be performing Nelson Mass which was once described as “arguably his greatest single composition”, and is a favourite of his late masses.

In addition, the Sinfonia will be performing Clarinet Conerto no. 2, by Malcolm Arnold, one of the most sought-after composers of the 20th century. The soloist will be Alison Eales.

To complete the evening, the Sinfonia will also be performing the Symphony in D major, by Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach.

The evening will be on the 5th December, in the Fraser Noble Building, beginning at 7:30pm. Completmentary mince pies and mulled wine will be provided.

Tickets are available from the RAC, or on the door.
