Open Nights at the Observatory

Visitors to the Observatory can experience the new piCETL telescope recently unveiled there.

Open Nights at the Observatory

The Department of Physics & Astronomy is arranging to hold a number of Open Nights at the Observatory on Manor Road, in Oadby.

The dates will be : Monday 22nd February, Thursday 25th February, Thursday 18th March, Monday 22nd March and Thursday 25th March. All Open Nights will begin at 7.30pm.

Open nights are restricted to members of staff and their families. Numbers are constrained by the size of the Observatory. Please make your booking through the Astronomy Group Technician Ray McErlean on 2081 or email rfm@le.ac.uk.

All night are now fully booked. Look out for more open nights from September.
