BULLETIN BOARD

Results of University Travel Survey now available

Many thanks to all of you that completed the Travel Survey.

We achieved a 70% response rate from staff, which we believe is the highest ever achieved by a University for a travel survey. We are thrilled to have collected such a wealth of valuable data that will inform the development of the Travel Plan.

The full reports are available . These are large and detailed documents and there is a helpful Executive Summary at the beginning.

You may recall that the survey offered an opportunity to enter a prize draw to win a bicycle. The winners of the bikes are: Melanie Haberle from the Bio-Centre and student Danielle Haslam. They have been notified and are in the process of ordering their bicycles.

Next steps

The team are busy analysing all the results and recommendations and drafting the full Travel Plan. This will be available during March with the final version going for Committee approval during May.

Before then – if you would like to take part in our briefing and question and answer sessions, please register your interest at www.le.ac.uk/travelplan
