Fundraising Drive to Aid Leicester’s Link with an African University

Recycle your mobile phone for Africa

Before Christmas a scheme was launched inviting staff and students in Leicester University to get rid of their old unwanted mobile phones. The proceeds will support our work with Gondar University, Ethiopia (see our website at www.le.ac.uk/gondar ).

Please drop in your old working or non-working mobile phone into one of the bins located in:

• MSB Coffee Shop

• CWB Coffee Shop

• Student Union Building (near shop)

• RKCSB Foyer

Or put in an internal envelope to “Phones for Africa”, C/O LUSU, Percy Gee Building.

Please help to support the expansion of this project which forms part of Leicester’s commitment to global education.

For more information on the project, please contact:

Nichole Bruce, Leicester-Gondar Link Administrator, University of Leicester, International Office, nb50@le.ac.uk or Telephone 0116 252 5321. Website: www.le.ac.uk/gondar
