- Event on local social enterprise in healthcare: On May 24th 2011, Carlo Ruzza and Ellen Annandale, along with Ming Lim from the School of Management, held a highly successful event, 'Connected Communities: Healthcare, Markets and Service Delivery'. The event was in collaboration with Leicester City Council and assisted by Oliver Williams, Lydia Lewis and Janet Harvey. At the event, over 30 representatives from local 'third sector' organisations met to deliberate on the impact of the proposed NHS reforms for the delivery of care to local Leicester communities. Outputs from the event will be fed back to the AHRC as part of the cross-research council programme on Connected Communities.
