The Unit for DICE drews its strengths and expertise from individuals and organisations within and outside the University of Leicester.

This new unit will prioritise promoting an audible public voice by acting as a hub for intelligent debate, routinely connecting community members, practitioners and policy makers to leading academics on campus and local and national media outlets.

Our Directors

The research and training activities delivered at the Unit for DICE are coordinated by Professor Surinder Sharma and Professor John Williams. Collectively they have more than thirty years worth of experience conducting research within the field of diversity, inclusion, equality and Human Rights issues.
