  • The design of work environments (including ergonomics)
  • Teamwork and leadership
  • The study of bullying and harassment in organisations
  • Models of work stress and the evaluation of interventions to tackle the problem
  • The use of qualitative and quantitative methods in organisational research.

Key Features of our Courses

Our courses offer a flexible approach to learning that allows students to choose how to best manage their studies around their other commitments. Our teaching makes use of a combination contemporary and user-friendly course materials and the latest online learning technology. There is an on-line community that allows students and academic staff to communicate and work collaboratively with each other. Our courses help students to develop knowledge and skills that can be used to make a real difference in organisations. The courses also provide the option to attend sessions and skills workshops with some of the UK’s leading Occupational Psychologists.

Our courses provide students with opportunities to network with a diverse student cohort group from a range of professions. Many students work in management, human resources or health and safety - in a range of organisations throughout the world. Others are independent consultants. Some students choose to do our course purely out of personal interest. We are always interested in receiving proposals from potential PhD students in our areas of research interest.

*Applicants for this course need an undergraduate degree that confers Graduate Basis for Registration (GBR) with the British Psychological Society.
